Zinc flake coating

Since the end of 2021, we have also been carrying out zinc lamella coating on a test operation basis, which is in increasing demand. Zinc flake coating is a corrosion resistant coating used above all for the reliable corrosion protection and functional protection of high-strength steels and aluminium alloys.

The process is also a solution for workpieces for which neither hot-dip galvanising nor electrogalvanising has provided a perfect solution due to their technological characteristics (e.g. hot-dip galvanising is difficult to paint due to hydrogen formation, electrogalvanising can cause joining problems with thicker coatings, or for certain shapes, it is not perfectly spread on the internal surfaces or the coating thickness is not uniform, and the size of the parts to be treated is severely limited due to the dimensions of the baths)

Dacromet or zinc flake coating is a zinc-aluminium flake coating in a chromate compound. This inorganic, firmly adherent coating meets high corrosion requirements.

  • No heat effect, so thinner sheets do not deform

The system we have designed allows the zinc lamella coating of fences, iron elements, agricultural machinery, etc. up to 6 metres long.
